Advising

  • When was the last time you met with your advisor?
  • Have you made an appointment with your advisor?
  • Are you unsure about your major and need to speak with someone?
  • Did you know that students who meet with their advisor once a semester have the greatest success?

Now that we are settled into the Summer semester we encourage students to set up a time to speak with their advisor. This is a great way to prepare for the Fall semester and know which classes you will want to register for now.

Have you met with your advisor?
~ Look into majors
~ Figure out schedule
~ Find the best classes
~ Transfer or get a job?

What can your advisor do for you?

  • Your advisor will help you set realistic educational goals.
  • Your advisor will make sure you are in the major that best fits your career goals.
  • Your advisor will assist you in selecting the correct courses for your major.
