Deferred Payment

Nashville State is pleased to offer Nelnet Business Solutions QuikPAY Payment Plan as a convenient, affordable, and interest-free way to pay for college.

The online QuikPAY Payment Plan provides students the option to pay their semester tuition and fees in automatic installments rather than all at once.

 
QuikPAY Payment Plan Available Fall and Spring Semesters

QuikPAY Payment Plan is not available for summer term.

 
Enrollment Deadlines

 

QuikPAY Payment Plan Overview and Schedule

  • You must have a minimum balance of more than $250 in tuition and fees for the semester in order to enroll in the payment plan. The minimum balance is determined after all financial aid, discounts, fee waivers, and third-party payments are applied.
  • A $25 per semester nonrefundable QuikPAY enrollment fee and 50% down payment are required. The enrollment fee and down payment are automatically deducted from your checking, savings, or credit card account immediately after your QuikPAY payment plan agreement has been posted to the system.
  • The tuition payment is automatically deducted on the 5th of each month from your checking, savings, or credit card account.
  • If your payment on the 5th is not successful, it will be reattempted on the 20th of the month. Anytime a payment is returned, you will receive notification on how the returned payment will be handled. Your agreement will be processed until the balance owed is paid in full.
  • For each returned payment, you will be assessed a $30 returned payment fee. Please note, your financial institution may also assess a returned payment fee.
  • Returned payment fees are automatically deducted from the designated checking, savings, or credit card account you provided. If your returned payment fee is returned, it will also be reattempted. Returned payment fees are payable to Nelnet Business Solutions.
  • Enrollment fees and returned payment fees are subject to change in future academic years or semesters.

 
Payment Plan Availability

  • Availability of QuikPAY payment plan enrollment is determined by Nashville State Community College. Please be aware the college may elect not to have QuikPAY available during specific times and dates during registration. Payment plans are not available for summer term.

QuikPAY Payment Plan Online Setup and Management

To begin, be sure to have the following information:

  • Student "A" number
  • Name, address, and daytime phone number of person responsible for making the payments.
  • Account information for the responsible person:
    • If paying by automatic bank payments from a checking or savings account: You will need the financial institution's routing number and your account number. This information is located on your personal check.
    • If paying by credit card: You will need the credit card number and expiration date. VISA, MasterCard and American Express are accepted.

**Please register for all classes prior to enrolling in a payment plan.**

 
To Setup a QuikPAY Account and Payment Plan

  1. Log in to MyNSCC
  2. Click on My Self Service tab.
  3. Select Student tab.
  4. Select Student Account.
  5. Select QuikPAY Payment Plan.
  6. Follow directions from there to set up your payment plan.
  7. Before clicking the Confirm button, carefully read the Terms and Conditions. You must agree to the Terms and Conditions, then click the Confirm button to proceed.
  8. An immediate e-mail will be sent (if an e-mail address was provided for the person responsible for payment) confirming enrollment through QuikPAY.

Managing Your QuikPAY Payment Plan

  • Log in to QuikPAY to:
    • Change your banking information.
    • Review your payment plan details.
    • Change your address/phone number.
    • Set up authorized payers.
    • View transaction history.
  • Balance Adjustments
    Once you have enrolled in QuikPAY, please do not assume your balance will automatically be adjusted if financial aid is received or a class is dropped or added. You should review your account balance online through QuikPAY and rebalance your account as needed, or contact Nelnet Business Solutions at 888-470-6014.
