Scholarships are available both through the NSCC Financial Aid office and from numerous groups not affiliated with the school. We recommend that you check with any groups, clubs or religious organizations that you might be a member of or with you or your parent’s workplace to see if they offer educational assistance.
You can also use online scholarship searches like fastweb.com to search for them. Just remember that generally there is no difference between free sites or pay sites as far the information provided. If they ask for any payment we recommend that you try another site.
Scholarships awarded at Nashville State Community College are listed below and are subject to change. To make application for NSCC scholarships, please complete the on-line NSCC Financial Aid Application. You can access this application at myNSCC. Once logged into myNSCC choose the “My Self Service” option to access the “Financial Aid” tab. Under the “Financial Aid” tab click on “Financial Aid Status”, select the Aid Year (the academic year for which you are receiving financial aid) from the “Select Aid Year” drop-down menu when prompted, and then click on “Student Requirements”. To access the NSCC Financial Aid Application, you must have either made application for admission or must have completed the Free Application for Federal Student Aid and included NSCC to receive the results.
Students are limited to one NSCC scholarship per award year. The priority date to make application for scholarships is May 1 preceding each award year. Awards are made contingent upon funding.
