Notice to Students

For the spring semester, your FAFSA and all required documents must be received by the Financial Aid Office by 4:30 pm on November 3, 2014, in order to have aid processed in time to pay fees prior to the first purge. If you delay in submitting all of the required documents by the priority date, you will need to be prepared to pay your registration fees in full or set up a deferred payment plan (not available for summer semester) with the Bursar’s Office in order to keep your classes from purging (being dropped for non-payment).

You will also need to complete the NSCC Financial Aid application via myNSCC. This application is used in addition to the FAFSA. This application is used in addition to the FAFSA to determine your eligibility for aid, including student loans. This application also serves as the NSCC scholarship application. For more information regarding the application process click here.

When completing the FAFSA it is highly recommended that you import your information into your FAFSA application from the IRS. For information regarding the benefits of importing your data from the IRS click here.

The Financial Aid office no longer accepts tax returns (form 1040 or 1040A, or 1040EZ) when completing the verification process for students. Students are required to request a tax transcript directly from the IRS. For more information and instructions click here.
