FAQ

How can the Center help me find a job?

The Center offers two types of employment assistance to students, graduates and alumni. Both are free.

View both part-time and full-time positions on the JOBS Bulletin board in the hallway outside the Center or examine the Job Binders in the Center.

See Center personnel for Cooperative Education (Co-op) information on jobs.

Do I need a resume in order to receive assistance from the program?

In most instances, the answer is yes. Only the Co-op program has its own application. Center personnel are available to assist you with your resume. You may submit your resume online or bring it to the Center on a diskette using MS Word or Word Perfect. The Co-op application is available in the Center.

Why is it so important for the Center to know about my employment after I graduate?

Partial funding for the college comes from the good employment record of its graduates. The Tennessee Board of Regents requires us to collect this important information. Only statistical information is reported.

As a potential employer of your students, how can the Center help me locate qualified applicants?

Fax, mail or e-mail job descriptions to the Center
