Fall 2008: New Saturday Classes
NSCC Cookeville Campus will be offering Saturday classes starting Fall 2008 semester. ENGL-1010-413 English Composition I and HIST-2030-410 Tennessee History will meet every other Saturday: Aug. 23 (1st day of class), Sept. 6 & 20, Oct. 4 & 18, Nov. 1 & 15, and Dec. 6 (final exam).

RAD Certification
The Cookeville Campus of NSCC recently completed a class in RAD (Rape Aggression Defense) certification. The RAD system is a program of realistic self-defense tactics and techniques for women hosted by instructors from within the Cookeville Police Department. The RAD system is dedicated to teaching women defense concepts and techniques against assault by utilizing easy, effective and proven self-defense tactics.
