Michigan Plus Test
This assessment allows us to evaluate your English strengths and weaknesses and your possible need for basic courses that should be taken BEFORE remedial/developmental courses. The MICHIGAN is another tool that we use to find the best "fit" for your academic needs.
The MICHIGAN PLUS TEST consists of five parts:
LISTENING. A ten minute listening exercise on tape.
GRAMMAR. Written questions in which you will choose the correct response to a given question.
READING. Answering questions on what you have read.
SPEAKING. A short conversation with the test administrator.
WRITING. A short essay on a given topic.
The test takes approximately 2 hours to complete.
