Music Technology Full-time and Adjunct Faculty

Bob Dellaposta Adjunct

Bob Dellaposta teaches Music Publishing and Advanced Publishing at NSCC. He received a B.S in Music Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. He also maintains a successful career as a songwriter and music publisher. Numerous artists have recorded his compositions both domestically and internationally.


Joel K. Dobbins Adjunct

Joel Dobbins teaches Intro to MIDI at NSCC. He attended Tennessee State University and Middle Tennessee State University. He is manufacturer trained and certified on a number of MIDI software systems and other recording equipment. He is also involved in the sales and merchandising of MIDI and other recording equipment.


Dave Harris Adjunct

Dave Harris teaches Intro to MIDI and Advanced MIDI at NSCC. He is a respected keyboardist/MIDI programmer and music technology consultant. He owns Northshore Productions and creates original soundtracks and music for a variety of entertainment industry clients. He is factory trained as a retail product specialist for several major MIDI hardware/software manufacturers


Wayne Neuendorf Full-Time

Wayne Neuendorf teaches the Intro to Studio Recording and Advanced Studio Recording classes at NSCC. He is a graduate of Troy State University with a B.M.E. in music education. During a distinguished career as a recording engineer in Atlanta, Los Angeles and Nashville he began teaching over twenty years ago at Nashville Tech and has also taught at MTSU and Belmont University. He has written two books, An Engineer’s Notebook and Music Fundamentals Explained. He created the Music Technology program at NSCC and has served as Program Coordinator.


Mike Porter Adjunct

Mike Porter teaches Studio Maintenance (Basic Studio Electronics) at NSCC. Mike attended Auburn University for two years in Engineering Management before transferring to Belmont University. Mike graduated from Belmont in 1976 with a BBA degree with a concentration in Music Business and has worked as Chief Engineer for both Woodland Sound Studios and Sound Stage Studios here in Nashville. He spent over 11 years with Sony Professional Audio in a technical sales capacity, and has worked for digital audio workstation manufacturer, SADiE, Ltd. and served as Product Manager for Quantegy Recording Solutions. Currently he operates his own business, Convergent Computer Services, catering to studio and small business operations.


Eric A. Richardson Full-Time

Eric Richardson teaches Desktop Digital Audio and Advanced Desktop Digital Audio classes at NSCC. He has earned a Master Recording I Certificate from the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences and an A.A.S. degree in General Technology from NSCC as well as Digidesign’s Pro Tools HD 7 User Certification. As an audio engineer and consultant he has worked with national and independent recording artists and music publishers.
