Eleonora Alvarado, 615-353-3705
Eleonora Alvarado is an Assistant Professor in Office Administration.  She is an RN, has earned a BA from Wright State University, and a MHA from Medical College of Virginia.  She is also a Certified Professional Coder (CPC).    Work experience includes critical care nursing at two major trauma centers, health care management positions at an insurance company, hospital, and physician offices.  She has been a consultant and speaker in the field of coding and reimbursement.

Nanci Cross, 353-3431
Nanci Cross is an Instructor in Office Administration. She is a Registered Health Information Administrator. She earned her BA from Trevecca University and her M.Ed. from Tennessee State University. Previous work experience includes Health Information Management program director, various coding and health information management positions including auditing and consulting. Nanci has also been a recipient of the Rising Star Award offered by the Tennessee Health Information Management Association. She is active in local professional organizations and has a passion for education and life long learning.

Karen Kendrick, 615-353-3720
Karen Kendrick is an Instructor in the Office Administration program.  Her academic credentials include a Master's of Business Education and a BBA in Accounting.  Eighteen additional graduate hours are  completed in the area of Human Resource Development and Adult Education.  She has earned the Microsoft-issued status of Master User for the Microsoft Office programs, reflecting the successful completion of all four MOS tests at the highest possible level.  Before a career in public education, she managed the accounting functions for payroll and benefits in an organization with more than 5,000 employees and honed her training and curriculum development skills while working with the Virginia state guarantor of federal student loans.  

Beverly Lyle, 615-353-3772
Beverly Lyle is an Associate Professor in Office Administration. She received her Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Office Administration from Belmont University and her Master of Business Education degree from Middle Tennessee State University. She has been a full-time instructor at NSCC since 2000 and has developed and taught several online courses for the Office Administration program. Beverly holds Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) certifications in PowerPoint 2003 and Access 2003.
