Hi, my name is Quateka Darrington. I am a student in the OTA program here at Nashville State Community College. I came into this program with the interest of improving a person's health and well being. This program has improved my writing, observation, time management, and organizational skills. I was a member of the OTA club as a continuing education representative, and have worked alongside each instructor doing my student work. This program has prepared me for a prosperous future. I work in healthcare now, and the skills that I have learned while being in class have helped me improve the lives of the people I work with now. I am an advocate for this program because it is so promising.  Seeing people strive and gain independence after a incident, disability, or disease is rewarding for you and the person you are working with. All in all, this is the program to join.
