Cynthia Hayden, MEd, OTR/L 615·353·3383
Ms Hayden is an Associate Professor in the Occupational Therapy Assistant program at NSCC. She has been an occupational therapist since 1980 and has taught at Nashville State for 12 years. Her practice areas are physical disability, especially spinal cord injury, neurological disorders, and hand therapy. Her educational interests include professional behaviors, curriculum development, and continuing education.
Donna Whitehouse, MHA, OTR/L 615·353·3382
Ms. Whitehouse is the Program Director for the NSCC OTA Program. She is an Assistant Professor, and teaches courses in Occupational Therapy History, OT Management and Occupational Therapy Group interventions. Ms Whitehouse joined NSCC in 2002, following several years on faculty at the Program in Occupational Therapy at Washington University in St. Louis. Her interests are in administration, fieldwork education, program development, and community practice.
