Nashville State Technical Community College is a two-year comprehensive technical community college with an enrollment of over 7,000.

All faculty positions require computer literacy, the ability to use technology in the classroom, and proficiency in oral/written English. Duties include, but are not limited to, day/evening, on/off campus teaching, curriculum development, advising students and other responsibilities as assigned. Two years’ college-level teaching experience is preferred. A classroom presentation on an assigned topic will be required for all candidates interviewed. Positions for New A.A.S. Program in Nursing
Nashville State Community College is currently conducting a needs assessment for an A.A.S. program in Nursing. This program is contingent upon approval. A letter of interest and resume/vita will be required of all interested candidates.

DIRECTOR/COORDINATOR NURSING PROGRAM
($80,000 - $95,000)
This position is 80% administrative and 20% instructional. The director will provide leadership for the program, including evaluation and supervision of faculty; maintaining applicable accreditations, and supplying guidance for clinical activities and campus labs. Requirements include: A Doctorate degree in nursing from a regionally accredited institution and RN licensure or eligibility for licensure are required. Recent college-level teaching experience; record of nursing scholarship; and experience in curriculum, program evaluation and accreditation are required. Evidence of leadership, community service, positive communication skills, and creative problem solving are required.

Term Position.
Master’s degree in Secondary Education or related field and 18 graduate hours in Reading required. Eighteen graduate hours in English preferred.

The position requires demonstrated computer literacy, sense of collegiality, proficiency in oral/written English, and the ability to adapt technology to a variety of teaching and learning situations. Duties may include day/evening, on/off campus teaching (e.g. Southeast Center and dual-enrollment sites), on-line teaching, curriculum development, academic advising, and other responsibilities as assigned.
