Adjunct Faculty - Main Campus

English as a Second Language (ESOL) Instructor - Southeast Campus

AY, Term position – Salary Range $31,400 - $42,200.
Baccalaureate degree in Teaching English as a Second Language or a related field, a baccalaureate degree with 18 graduate hours in TESL/TEFL, a baccalaureate degree with additional TESL/TEFL certification, or a baccalaureate degree with significant relevant work experience is required. Related work experience, continuous documented excellence in teaching, or other demonstrated achievements related to the teaching area may be considered. A master’s degree in TESL/TEFL or a related field is preferred.

All positions require demonstrated computer literacy, sense of collegiality, proficiency in oral/written English, and the ability to adapt technology to a variety of teaching and learning situations. Duties may include day/evening, on/off campus teaching (e.g. Southeast Campus and dual-enrollment sites), online teaching, curriculum development, academic advising, and other responsibilities as assigned. Applicants with an interest in teaching and developing Web courses are encouraged to apply. A classroom presentation will be required for all candidates interviewed.

Qualifications: Part-time instructor needed to teach crime scene investigation classes. Bachelor’s degree in Crime Scene Investigation/Criminal Justice equivalent required.

Help Desk Support Technician

High school diploma or equivalent required. Working knowledge of hardware, software, the internet, and networked systems with an ability to clearly discuss the same with a range of individuals who have minimum to high levels of technical knowledge required.
