Bachelor’s degree in English, education or related field required and 18 graduate hours in reading preferred.

Director of Online Learning

Organizes, manages, and oversees the operations of the Office of Online Learning. Coordinates and conducts training for online faculty in the development of online instructional materials and methods. Keeps abreast of new development and research in online education. Develops policies/procedures and writes grants and formal reports, including those for SACSCOC and other agencies/associations. Oversees course reviews and coordinates assessment of the college’s online education and programs. Works toward ensuring ADA compliance in all online courses. Recruits and assigns adjunct faculty to teach Regents Online Degree Program (RODP) courses.

Master’s degree from an accredited institution, three years of experience in teaching and/or developing/designing online courses, and experience in course management systems and HTML are required. In addition, three years of supervisory experience is preferred.

Nursing Instructor Position

Looking for a new challenge from your nursing career? Come and teach in our nursing program.

Nashville State Community College is looking for experienced nurses who are passionate about the profession and who believe in the values that have been passed down through generations. We are looking for faculty who are interested in teaching, assisting in curriculum development, and willing to serve as mentors to the next generation of nurses. We are currently recruiting full-time nursing faculty who have experience in the area of Medical/Surgical Nursing.

Responsibilities include didactic/clinical instruction as well as demonstrated teaching ability and clinical experience.

Requirements: Master’s Degree in Nursing (or working toward completion of a Master’s Degree in Nursing) and two years’ recent nursing clinical experience. Licensure as a registered nurse in Tennessee is required. Experience in teaching preferred, but not required.
