Director of Workforce Development

Oversees the operation of a workforce development unit that works with business and industries to provide appropriate training and education for members of the emerging and incumbent workforces.

Minimum Standards: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience required; Master’s degree preferred. Three years’ experience working in a business or industry required. Five years’ successful experience in developing a trained workforce, with a history of increasing responsibility in workforce development required. Successful experience in developing and marketing workforce programs to business/industry required.

Lab Assistant - Science Department - Humphreys County

Part-time - 18.8 hours/week

High school diploma or educational equivalent is required. Knowledge of biology or related field required. Applicant will be required to set up laboratory equipment, inventory supplies and work in conjunction with instructors on science lab experiments.

Admissions Counselor

Bachelor’s Degree required.  One year of related advising experience required.  The position advises students and families of admission requirements, transfer guidelines, financial aid, and scholarship information as well as assisting students in accessing college resources.

Help Desk Support Technician

Help Desk Support technicians act as the initial contact to resolve technical issues for the college. This technician will answer technical questions, trouble shoot issues to resolve computer related problems and/or issue service tickets to the appropriate Computer Service Division department. Work is performed via phone, email, and face-to-face within the help desk office and open computer lab using a variety of software, security access controls and remote management tools.

High school diploma or educational equivalent required. Working knowledge of hardware, software, the internet, and networked systems with an ability to clearly discuss the same with a range of individuals who have minimal to high levels of technical knowledge required. Experience in computer system repair and/or computer support call center and/or a technical (computer systems related) degree is preferred.
