3-D Design and Graphics

3-D Design and Graphics

The 3-D Design and Graphics Technical Certificate prepares students for employment in architectural design, manufacturing and product design, video game design, and television/multimedia production design. Concepts and processes of 3-D design are emphasized using the most current industry software for students seeking careers as graphics artists/illustrators creating 3-D presentations; architectural, manufacturing, and industrial 3-D designers/drafters; video game and computer simulations designers; and technical marketing illustrators.

Using multiple software applications and formats, students develop design skills and techniques to create 3-D presentations, demonstrating proficiency in 3-D visualization and concepts using multiple mediums including multimedia, print, Web, and video.

The ability to create and present ideas is an integral part of the program culminating in the creation of a professional portfolio for presentation at job interviews.
