Our students receive assistance for technical issues related to the college’s computers, its network and on-line learning systems (NS Online web courses) from the Computer Help Desk. Help Desk Support Technicians work with students who experience technical problems ranging from an inability to logon to trouble shooting NS Online (web course) issues. Additionally, for students that are taking web courses - NS Online - the Help Desk and an after office hours external call center provide extended phone support; 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Open Computer Lab
The Open Lab provides students a place for independent study. Students have access to PC and Mac computers, classroom software, Internet access, and academic course-related activities.
Open Lab Equipment
Current equipment includes 20 PC and five Mac computer stations connected to a laser printer. In addition there are two flatbed scanners: one for Mac and one for PC.
