Transfer Articulation Agreements

NSCC and Argosy University:
Agreement: Argosy University offers bachelor degrees in Business (BSBA), Psychology (BA Psychology), Criminal Justice (BSCJ), and Liberal Arts (BALA), and anticipates offering additional bachelor degrees in the future. Argosy University and Nashville State Community College will develop a transfer guide that identifies how transfer of an associate degree applies to requirements of existing bachelor degree programs.

Agreement: Please click on the following link to view the articulation agreement between NSCC and Ashford University; students can transfer up to 90 hours to Ashford University in pursuit of a bachelor’s degree.

NSCC and Austin Peay State University (APSU):
Agreement: The Austin Peay State University Dual Admissions Agreement links Nashville State Community College students with Austin Peay State University to create a seamless transition from completion of an associate’s degree at NSCC to pursuit of a bachelor’s degree at APSU.

Agreement: Please click the following link to view the articulation agreement that allows faculty, staff, and NSCC graduates to articulate associate degrees and/or credit to Capella University to count toward specific baccalaureate degree programs.

Agreement: An Associate of Applied Science (AAS) Degree in General Technology with a Technical Concentration (NSCC) will transfer into a Bachelors of Science in Surveying and Mapping at ETSU.  Please review the agreement for the specific course requirements.

Agreement: The MTSU / NSCC partnership allows students who earn an Associate of Applied Science at NSCC to transfer credits to MTSU toward the completion of a Bachelor’s of Science in Professional Studies with a concentration in Organizational Leadership or Information Technology.

Agreement: Students who successfully earn a diploma in the 1,918-hour Airframe and Power plant Mechanics can transfer 40 hours to Nashville State towards an AAS degree in General Technology.

NSCC and University of Phoenix:
Agreement: Students who complete an associate’s degree at NSCC may transfer to the University of Phoenix and apply those credits toward a bachelor’s degree.

Agreement: NSCC employees and students can receive a 5% tuition reduction and 100% Prior Learning Assessment (PLA) if they enter into a Bachelor Level Program or higher at the University of Phoenix. Please see the agreement for additional details and criteria:

Agreement: Students who earn an Associate of Arts (AA), Associate of Science (AS), or an Associate of Science in Teaching (AST) can transfer those credits in a block to count toward a bachelor’s degree at Victory University.
