Nashville State Recognized as Best in the Toast of Music City
In the Tennessean’s 2012 Toast of Music City Readers’ Choice Awards, Nashville State placed 2nd as Best College or University: 2012 Winners. Middle College High School at Nashville State placed 3rd as Best High School. More than 56,000 readers voted in the fifth annual contest, which ranked nearly 93 categories. (August 2012)

NSCC Receives Pencil Foundation Award
Nashville State received an award for 15 years of service to the Pencil Foundation. Nashville State provides support to the Pencil Foundation through sponsoring, Career/College Fairs, providing judges for student competitions and providing space for training for summer youth employment. (May 2009)

The National Society of Leadership and Success awarded two Nashville State students with The Excellence in Leadership Award. The award is given to members that go above and beyond the steps for membership. (May 2009)
