Office of Internal Audit - Reporting Complaints
Your views and complaints are important in helping us maintain the integrity of the college. Moreover, you can choose to maintain anonymity if you desire.
If you wish to lodge a complaint related to fraud, waste and abuse of resources, there are several ways in which you can do so.

What happens when the Office of Internal Audit receives a complaint involving fiscal misconduct?
In most cases, the first step is generally a preliminary fact finding. At the end of this stage, the Office of Internal Audit makes a determination of whether or not to investigate and identify other offices, if any, that should be involved. We review relevant documents and interview appropriate parties. If the Office of Internal Audit contacts you, you can expect a courteous, thorough, professional interview intended to develop relevant facts.
What about maintaining a complainant’s confidentiality?
You can be assured that the Office of Internal Audit will exercise the utmost sensitivity to conduct the review as confidentially as possible. The complainant’s confidentiality is protected under Tennessee Code Annotated Title 10, Chapter 7 (subject to court action requiring disclosure). Reprisal against an individual for cooperating with the Office of Internal Audit is prohibited by Tennessee Statutes and by institutional policy.
