Nashville State Community College

A/V Media Services - Clement Building

The Clement Auditorium at Nashville State Technical Community College is a multi-use facility dedicated to enhancing the educational experience of students, faculty, staff, and the Greater Nashville Community. The Clement Auditorium hosts a wide range of programs that include Multicultural Activities, Seminars, Teleconferences, Lectures, Classes, Movies, Talent Productions, and Award Ceremonies. A recent renovation of the Auditorium added close to 300 new seats, a state of the art sound system, and a new state of the art projection system. Future upgrades will include an upgrade to the lighting system and a new speaker system.

Use of the facility is available at no cost to all individuals and groups affiliated with the college. Outside individuals and groups may rent the auditorium for a predetermined rate. Both affiliated and non-affiliated individuals and groups must make application to the facilities manager at least fourteen days in advance. The facilities manager can be contacted at (615) 353-3274.

Audiovisual equipment for presentations is available to individuals and groups affiliated with the college at no charge. If the auditorium is to be used after business hours arrangements must be made through the Media Services personnel and Security to pick up the requested equipment and to receive any required training on the equipment setup prior to use. In most cases, outside groups will be responsible for providing their own presentation equipment.

The PA system in the auditorium will be made available to everyone, but a fee will be charged to outside groups. Arrangements for use of the PA system will need to be made through the facilities manager. Security will need to be notified in advance when the PA system is required for after-business hours to turn the equipment on and off otherwise it will be Media Services responsibility during normal working hours.
