A/V Media Services - Services Provided
The A/V Media Services office is open 8:30am to 4:30pm Monday through Friday. The office is located in the Kisber Building, room K-106B. The telephone number is 353-3562. The fax number is 353-3245.
All audiovisual requirements should be requested via email to avrequests@nscc.edu. Please make sure your request is made at least 24 hours in advance, so equipment can be reserved for your use. The amount of equipment available is limited; therefore, it is important you make your requests as far in advance as possible. If you find you have a last-minute requirement, every effort will be made to assist you. However, availability cannot be guaranteed. All requests will be handled on a first-come, first-serve basis. Your email should contain the following information: Put Audio/Visual Request in the subject line of the email. In the body of the message please include the date and time needed, the room number and equipment needed.
Requests for events requiring setup and operation should be submitted two weeks prior to the event. Arrangements for evening or weekend events must be made at least 48 hours in advance. Training on use of equipment for evenings and weekends must be provided prior to the event during regular work hours, as AV media personnel will not be available during evenings or weekends.
Training is available to faculty and staff on the use of all available equipment. AV media personnel are also available to assist with design and development of PowerPoint Presentations, digital slide shows, videotape duplication, video production and editing for web-based courses and classroom presentations, and use of software applications.
