Student Loan Disbursement Checks

All student loan disbursement checks are initially sent to the Financial Aid Office for processing.  Once approved, the checks are forwarded to the Bursar’s Office for disbursement if enrollment requirements are met.  Checks are not available to students until the first day of class for the semester.  There is a waiting period of 30 days for first-time borrowers.  For specific information regarding processing and disbursement of student loan checks, scholarships, or other financial aid information, please check the department information for the Financial Aid Office on our website or contact the Financial Aid Office at 615-353-3250.
