CAD - General Information
The Computer Aided Drafting program at Nashville State Technical Community College is designed to prepare students for a fun and exciting job in drafting as well as teach an important skill needed for advancing ones education in Architecture, Civil or Mechanical Engineering as well as many other fields. CAD is applied in an unbelievable number of fields where creativity and technology meet, providing the student with endless satisfying job opportunities. With the flexibility provided by our day and night classes both full time and currently employed students can achieve their goal of a better education and a better job with a minimum of frustration. From the basic principles in the beginning classes to the advanced skills in the 3D design classes, the students will be provided with the best instructors who have real world experiences to share and the newest technology at their disposal. When an idea needs to become a reality it will probably need a Computer Aided Drafter to make that happen. There is no better place than Nashville State Technical Community College to learn the CAD skills needed.
