During my education at NSCC, I developed a thorough knowledge in my chosen fields of study. The courses were taught by professional Architects and Engineers with real world experience and a love for teaching. I received a well rounded education and a broad range of career opportunities that I will carry with me for the rest of my life. I am now working in the field of civil engineering on hospitals and other healthcare projects around the United States. The work is very challenging and rewarding and there is plenty of room for career advancement. At 35 years old I decided it was time to change career paths to keep up with the changing times. I looked for a school that could assist me on my career decision and educate me to be successful in that field. That is exactly what I found here at Nashville State Community College. The Civil & Construction Engineering program’s wide range of study will offer any student a chance to find a successful job in the engineering field. I was able to receive my CAD Technical certificate in the process which has assisted me in working a part time job in my spare time from home drawing blueprints for a tooling company. The staff here at NSCC is more knowledgeable than I would have ever imagined and I want to thank each and every one for helping me get the best education I could expect.
