The NSCC Debate Club is seeking new members!
The Debate Club is open to all students. It is a forum for members to voice their opinions on a variety of issues.
- Members choose their level of involvement. Members have the option to present topics to the club for debate, participate in a round table discussion of a topic, or just listen to the conversation.
- Occasionally, special guests will be invited to speak as well.
- Topics will vary, and no opinions are wrong.
What will you gain from becoming a member of the debate club?
- The Debate Club helps members become more aware of world events and various viewpoints.
- The Debate Club gives members an opportunity to practice public speaking and the art of debate.
- The Debate Club provides a forum for students to voice their opinions.
- The Debate Club is a wonderful extra-curricular activity to put on job applications, college applications, and resumes.
