Developmental Studies Courses are taught by highly-qualified faculty dedicated to helping students learn the skills they need to be successful in college-level courses. Placement in these courses is determined upon admission to the college.

Challenge Testing
Challenge Testing for DSPW and DSPR classes is on the first day of your class(es). Students who enroll after the first class period are not eligible to take the test. For more information, please call or email Susan Tucker at 615.353.3531 or susan.tucker@nscc.edu. Guidelines for eligibility are in the catalog. Students taking college-prep courses should be prepared for computer-aided instruction.
