Jim Janosky has worked in horticultural education, consulting, and research for 25 years in Pennsylvania, California, and Florida. He established a horticultural degree program at Palm Beach Community College and his program development work with the Extension Service has been nationally recognized. He holds a M.S. in horticulture from Penn State University and is the author of Okeechobee-A Modern Frontier, published by the University Press of Florida.

Registered Landscape Architect

Alan Ray has been an adjunct instructor at Nashville State Community
College since 2000, teaching Advanced Landscape Design and Landscape
Construction.  Mr. Ray received his Bachelor of Landscape Architecture
in 1974 from Mississippi State University and has been in private practice in
Nashville for thirty years.  In 1988 Alan Ray Associates was established and
specializes in custom residential design, urban design, and park and recreational

Alan Ray has won a National Design Competition and numerous design awards
from the American Society of Landscape Architects, American Institute of
Architects, Garden Clubs of America, and the Dept. of Transportation.
