Industrial Electrical Maintenance
The Industrial Electrical Maintenance Two Year Technical Certificate (IMC) is designed to prepare graduates for an entry level position maintaining large electrical and manufacturing systems. This program covers electronic, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, equipment theory and applications, as well as PLC’s and control applications in detail. Classes transfer directly to Nashville State Technical Community College’s two year AAS degree in Electrical Engineering Technology for the student who wishes to further their career.
Job Oportunities:
Job opportunities include plant maintenance technician, power plant operator or maintenance technician, plant electrician, machine operator/technician and service technician. The recommended part-time evening schedule of two classes per semester (8 hours total per semester) is designed to be completed in two years or four semesters on a part time basis.
