Vision Statement
The Social & Life Sciences Division strives to provide a stimulating learning atmosphere
that will meet the needs of all students through the offering of transfer programs, career
programs and courses for personal enrichment.
Mission Statement
While the division’s academic programs are diverse in their offerings, all courses are
designed to build critical thinking and problem-solving skills that students will need as
they enter the workforce or transfer to four-year degree programs. Qualified faculty offer
instruction based on a rich background of academic training, workplace experience and
a desire to help students be successful.
