The Learning Center
The Learning Center at Nashville State offers students free services that aid in support of academic studies. These services include the following:
- Person to person assistance from Learning Center staff/tutors in
- Writing consultation
- Mathematics instruction
- Assistance in use of computers
- Other forms of assistance by request
- Computer programs to learn and/or practice course content
Computer programs to help prepare paper/projects for class, including word processing and presentation software
- Access to e-mail and Internet
- Access to Library research material
Smarthinking Online Tutorial, a service that provides tutoring for students who are enrolled in distance education courses, at off-campus sites, or simply can’t come to the Learning Center during its open hours.
