EKG Technician

Non-Credit Course: This forty (40) hour course will cover EKG monitoring to include preparing the patient for the test and applying electrodes, calculating a patient’s heart rate, identifying and resolving artifacts from the tracing and responding to potentially life threatening arrhythmias and more. Upon successful completion of the program, graduates will receive a Certificate of Completion. Additionally, graduates will be qualified for the optional certification exam offered by the National Healthcare Association (NHA).
