IDEA Center
The IDEA Center is a not for profit organization that provides a wide range of innovative assessment products and services to institutions of higher education, enabling them to assess and improve teaching, learning, and administrator performance.
The IDEA Student Ratings of Instruction system assesses student learning in a way that is tailored to each instructor’s teaching objectives. Effectiveness is measured by progress students make on instructor-defined educational goals, as opposed to broad and often rigid or outdated standards.
Nashville State is pleased to announce its participation in the IDEA evaluation process. Select online classes will take part in the survey in Fall 2005, and select online and on-ground courses will participate in the Spring 2006 pilot.
