Pay it forward.
If you’ve ever received help to achieve your dreams, you know how much it means when someone believes in you. And how great it feels to give someone else a hand up.
For many Nashville State students, going to college to earn a degree or gain credentials to launch a new career or advance in their current field is exciting but daunting. Even with financial aid through Pell Grants, Tennessee Promise, or other sources, a significant number of our students still face funding challenges that make enrolling difficult. That’s where you can help.
Your contribution can change lives – the life of a student and your own. Help them get into Nashville State so they can reach their goals. And know that someday they will pay it forward to others.

You want to help Nashville State students, and we want to make it easy for you. We offer two main ways to support students:
Whether it’s an adult scholarship for older students, a general scholarship for any student, or a targeted scholarship for students from a particular geographic area or pursuing a degree in a particular subject, your gift to our scholarship programs helps hundreds of students each year achieve their goals.
As a donor, you want to know that your gift accomplishes something important. Our Impact Fund (also called the Annual Fund) is designed with that goal in mind. Gifts to the Impact Fund may be used to:
- Remove financial barriers.
- Enhance learning.
- Assist students in need.
- Meet emerging needs.
Learn more about all the ways your unrestricted gift to the Impact Fund can support Nashville State students including financial assistance, equipment and supplies, departmental wish lists, Foundation operations or programs, or other future needs that emerge.
