Meet the Resource Manager

April Robinson is the Student Resource Manager at Nashville State Community College. As the Student Resource Manager, April works with students to identify social, emotional, or academic challenges. She helps the student develop strategies that will aid in their classroom performance. April serves as a support link between students, faculty, and staff, supporting student academic success. Her role also includes collaboration with community partners, where she serves as an educator and advocate for Nashville State students.

April has over 15 years of experience in the social services field, with a primary focus on helping young adults develop life skills as they transition into adulthood. Other areas of focus include developmental disabilities, substance abuse, mental health, and child welfare. April earned a Bachelor's in Psychology and a Master of Science in Social Work from the University of Tennessee.
