About Nashville State
At Nashville State, you will get the education you need to be successful. We offer more than 80 programs to prepare you to go right to work or transfer easily to a university. In addition to top rate faculty, who care about your success, you have support systems in place that not all colleges provide. First time, full time students are provided with staff advisors that will help you set and stay on course to reach your goals. If needed, you will have access to technology, food, financial, and transportation assistance.

Transfer
Did you know you can complete the first two years of your four-year degree at Nashville State? Finish your Associate's Degree, and transfer those credits and start as a junior at a four-year institution. Nashville State can help you every step of the way.

Tennessee Promise
Apply for the scholarship by completing the Tennessee Promise application by November 2 of your senior year of high school. Tennessee Promise will cover your tuition. The application can be found through the TSAC Student Portal.
Once you have applied for TN Promise, you will receive communications explaining your next steps. You will need to submit your FAFSA file by February 1, 2021.
FAFSA Application
Submit your FAFSA as early as October 1 in the year prior to the academic year you intend to start school. Submit your application as soon as possible to increase your chance for grants and scholarships.
