27 Educators Earn ACUE Certifications
As part of the college’s bi-annual Convocation, twenty-seven educators were honored during a pinning ceremony on Nashville State’s White Bridge campus for earning ACUE (Association of College and University Educators) certifications. Seven educators were recognized for earning their ACUE Certification in Effective College Instruction, and 20 educators were recognized for completing Advanced Certification in Effective Teaching Practices.
Organized and led by The Teaching Center at Nashville State, these educators earned a nationally recognized teaching credential through a rigorous training process offered by the Association of College and University Educators (ACUE).
“At Nashville State, our faculty are committed to continually improving the quality of instruction,” said Dr. James Edwards, executive director of online learning and teaching innovation. “By actively learning about and reflecting on teaching practices that support our diverse community of learners, we demonstrate our dedication to excellence and our college’s mission.”
Including these 27, during the past four years, 111 Nashville State educators were recognized for earning their ACUE Certification.
