As you work to complete each semester's studies, keep in mind your ultimate goal: graduation. Once you are close to achieving this educational goal, there are steps to follow and a ceremony to celebrate your accomplishment. As you may know, the graduation ceremony to confer your degree or certificate is entitled commencement. It marks the beginning of your future as a college graduate. You belong at this ceremony so make plans to attend. Your hard work as a successful college student deserves to be recognized by your community.

Cap and Gown Pick-up (Including Six Guest Tickets per Graduate)

April 17 & 18, 10 AM to 6 PM

Arrive - 1:45 PM / Begin 2 PM

Lipscomb University Allen Arena

Commencement will be live streamed at lipscomb.edu/live (this will only be live for the May 7 ceremony).

Important Note: Lipscomb University requires guests of all Nashville State graduates to have a ticket for entry. Each graduate will receive six tickets at cap and gown pick up. If you do not need all six tickets, please allow your classmate to have what you are not going to use. Tickets are not to be sold.
