Nashville State is in its permanent home in the new Dickson Center of Higher Education, a warm and friendly environment with the resources students need to succeed. At Nashville State, build the foundation you’re looking for to transfer to a four-year school or move directly into the workforce. 
 
Nashville State Dickson campus will continue to offer its traditional 15-week semester alongside its accelerated 7-week course model. Accelerated courses offer students the option to save time, earn credits faster, and progress more efficiently. 2nd 7-week term classes include biology, communications, English, history, music, and psychology.  
 
The Nursing program has expanded to Dickson campus, with the first cohort having started. Apply now for the Fall 2026 LPN to RN Bridge program  -- application window is open. Additionally, Nashville State Dickson campus is home to the college's new EMT program
