Early in 2023, Nashville State and Caterpillar Financial announced a 20-month Information Technology apprenticeship where students get paid on-the-job career experience as they work toward their associate degree.

Recently, the second cohort of students, both organizations, with the support of Apprenticeship TN in the Tennessee Department of Labor & Workforce Development, held a signing on the college’s White Bridge campus.

Justin Crowley and Stephanie Pedigo have started their journey with Team Caterpillar. We are rooting for your continued success!

“Nashville State’s first two apprentices made a positive and impactful contribution at Cat Financial, and we are confident that the precedent they set will be continued by Stephanie and Justin,” said the college’s president Dr. Shanna L. Jackson. “Such positive results and outcomes drive Nashville State’s mission to seek innovative ways to address workforce needs. Thank you, Caterpillar Financial, for the vision to see such a program as a workforce development solution.”
