Nashville State Demonstrates Ongoing Compliance as Part of Accreditation Cycle

1.5.24

Nashville State Community College recently demonstrated ongoing compliance with standards for full accreditation from the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC).

SACSCOC member institutions are required to submit a Fifth-Year Interim Report during the mid-point of its reaffirmation cycle. The process also includes an off-site and an on-site review, along with a review by the SACSCOC Board of Trustees. SACSCOC logo

Nashville State’s President Dr. Shanna L. Jackson shared the news with the College, writing, “This is excellent news and a reflection of the great working happening at Nashville State.

Compiling the narratives and documents to demonstrate compliance with SACSCOC standards takes a village. Please join me in thanking the following Falcons who contributed to this successful report: our official SACSCOC liaison Sarah Roberts, Charles Clark, Derrick Dupuis, Jamie Edwards, Angela Fountain, Carol Osorio, Jessica Rabb, Sarah Roberts, and Julie Williams.

I also want to thank each of you, our Falcon family, for your continued dedication to excellence as we serve our students and local communities.”

Nashville State is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award associate degrees and technical certificates.
