Nashville State Partnership with Asurion is a Success

Nashville State celebrated with Asurion to honor their first class of Software Engineering Apprentices. 

Nashville State collaborated with Asurion to be a workforce solutions partner. The College’s Workforce and Community Development team developed the program and delivered the curriculum in virtual classrooms.

Five Asurion employees were selected a little more than a year ago to participate in the inaugural class of this innovative apprenticeship program. 

 Asurion incumbent staff members Xavier, Barbara, Eric, Vallory and Megan, worked hard, took classes with Nashville State, collaborated with other Asurion employees and learned from Asurion Mentors. They officially graduated and will become Asurion Associate Software Engineers.
