Nashville State Community College School of Health Sciences, in its newly renovated building on the White Bridge campus, will serve as a clinical site for HOSA – Future Health Professionals phlebotomy and respiratory therapy skills events on Friday, June 20.

The group will gather in Nashville for its International Leadership Conference.

A key component of the HOSA International Leadership Conference is the clinical sites that host specialized skill events.

Around 60 students, adult advisors, patients, and several judges will gather for the skills competitions at Nashville State.

"We are proud to support the development and character-building of these future healthcare professionals," said Donna Whitehouse, MHA, OTR, dean of the School of Health Sciences. "HOSA – Future Health Professionals plays a crucial role in shaping the future of patient care."

More than 13,000 students will participate in the four-day event at the Gaylord Opryland Convention Center.
