Two Nashville State Visual Communications A.A.S. students in the School of Arts and Humanities won Silver Awards during the American Advertising Federation’s (AAF) District 7 competition. The competition followed the annul AAF Nashville Awards ceremony at The Clementine, where six Nashville State students won a total of seven awards. During the past seven years, Nashville State students have won 52 AAF Nashville ADDY Awards.

The Nashville State Community College Foundation has for seven years provided a grant to cover student entry fees, due to the generous support of private donors that fund scholarships and program enrichment funds.
