Application Deadlines

Don't miss your chance to apply! Application deadlines are as follows:

Step 2: High School Transcript

Official transcripts are sent directly to Nashville State by the issuing institution. This can be via mail, secure electronic exchange, or hand-delivered in a sealed envelope.

Ask your high school to forward an official transcript to the Welcome Center. If you have a GED or HiSET, request that a reporting institution sends a copy directly to the Welcome Center.

Step 3: ACT/SAT or Accuplacer Score

The ACT scores on your official high school transcripts are acceptable, as are SAT scores. You can request your report from the American College Testing Program. You are not required to submit testing scores, however, you will be placed into Learning Support coursework.

Our ACT code is 3983.

Learn More About Testing Requirements

You may also take the Accuplacer Test to test our of Learning Support course work.

Step 4: Immunization Waiver

To get this certificate, submit the Immunization Form in your application status portal. Official copies of State Health Department or military immunization forms will be accepted in lieu of the certificate.

Step 5: Proof of Citizenship

Every student receiving in-state tuition, or receiving state public benefits, must provide proof of citizenship or lawful presence. There are many ways you can verify this. Documents must be presented in person or uploaded to your application status portal.
Congratulations! At this point, you’re ready to attend Nashville State. You will receive an invitation by email once your admission is complete. All students will complete the online orientation and first-time freshmen will also attend an in-person Campus Connect: Welcome to the Nest session.
