ADA/AA and Reasonable Accommodation

The Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA) and the Americans with Disabilities Amendments Act of 2008 (ADA/AA) requires employers, state and local governments, employment agencies and labor unions to provide qualified individuals with disabilities equal access to employment.  A qualified employee or job applicant with a disability is an individual who, with or without reasonable accommodation, can perform the essential functions of the job in question.
