Our Business Concentrations

The business field is far and wide. Choose from one of four paths that we teach to focus your efforts.

Entrepreneurship

The Entrepreneurship concentration provides the knowledge and skills to become an entrepreneur in today’s changing job market. Instruction in the areas of entrepreneurial planning, managing, marketing, accounting, and supervising are emphasized. This concentration will prepare you to enter the small business environment as a small business owner or manager.

Logistics

We’ve all seen in recent years how important logistics and supply chain management are. This program integrates business management and computer information systems courses with the latest logistics practices and technologies. Begin your successful career with the necessary mastery of supply chain management principles, warehousing and distribution, inventory control, traffic management, regulatory compliance, and various analytical tools.

Management

The Management concentration will give you the knowledge and skills required for careers in a wide variety of service, merchandising, and manufacturing organizations. Develop the skills to own and operate a business, or to prepare yourself for career opportunities as a production manager, store/office manager, or sales and marketing director.

Marketing & Retailing

The Marketing and Retailing concentration prepares you for the process of identifying what, when, how much, where, and why consumers want specific products and services. Learn how Internet technology provides the marketer worldwide access to meet the needs of a global market. Start your successful marketing career fully skilled in customer service and sales techniques, communications, management and planning, general business practices, economics, and organizational and consumer behavior.
