Nashville State’s Logistics technical certificate in CBE format prepares you to enter the job market quickly. Program courses provide the basic supply chain management skills necessary for today’s workplace. All courses can be applied toward the Business A.A.S. degree Logistics concentration.

What is CBE?

Competency-based education is a method of instruction and evaluation based upon students demonstrating their command of a subject. It focuses on students showing what they know and that they grasp the subject matter through evaluations.

While students from all backgrounds and experiences may find the CBE model appealing, it is an attractive option for adult learners. Adult learners have life experience and knowledge that can help them advance through a CBE course.

For example, imagine going to school for a Logistics degree after spending years running a business. They would likely be able to prove knowledge in these areas immediately, moving quicker by those lessons and one step closer to graduating.
