Mission of The Teaching Center Fellows

To provide services online, virtually, and at multiple NSCC campuses so that all faculty members, full-time and part-time, will have the opportunity to engage in the following activities:

1. develop and employ skills and expertise which have been shown to increase student retention and completion rates;

2. design and attend professional workshops and multimedia resources which promote pedagogical excellence; and

3. investigate future needs and articulate strategic directions for professional development for the faculty across all campuses.
