Associate of Applied Science

In your courses you will study low voltage distribution, control systems, and power distribution systems along with the corresponding equipment. You’ll get a mix of theory and practice in a lab setting as you learn about AC and DC motors and generators, ladder logic, programmable logic controllers, power electronics, electrical codes, testing, measurement, and Computer Aided Drafting (CAD).

Take your Education a Step Further 

Once completed, this degree will transfer to a B.S. in Industrial Electronics Technology from Tennessee State University. Students interested in transferring to TSU after graduation must complete MATH 1730 prior to enrolling at TSU or take the class through TSU during their first semester.
